With our crippling economy one has to ask why did this all happen. Banks ran wild, Wall Street cut loose, and CEO's decided to not only have Christmas bonuses, but also Easter bonuses and Groundhog Day bonuses. Republicans are just pushing this idea that tax cuts to businesses and home owners will do the trick because as I said before all that money in CEO pockets and bank accounts will do great. Republicans can't solve this problem because they started it. Saying that any regulation over the cornerstones of the US economy is horrible and will destroy the free market. Guess what, deregulation destroyed the free market! Now we don't need a 'Big Brother' scenario but we just need to realize that we can't just continue with the idea that businesses know what is best for the average... (ugh I don't want to use this comparison but it fits....) Joe the plumber. We need more regulations to insure that this won't happen again. So that being said...DEREGULATION, YOUR OFFICIALLY ON NOTICE!
