The new Post Office moto...

Come rain, or sleet, or snow, or hail, we'll deliver your mail... except in economic depressions. Yes it is now being discussed that soon Sunday isn't the only day you won't be getting mail. Yes because of how crappy the economy has gotten, costs have gone WAY up. And with the dominance of online e-mail's and websites, letters and magazines are becoming obsolete. The US Post Office is predicting in this fiscal year they might lose up to 6 billion dollars forcing them to go to ask lawmakers to lift the 6-day requirement of operation. Saturday won't necessarily be on the chopping block since they will probably axe a day that has light mail like Tuesday.

So this should be great huh. Just look at it, our whole society and ways of living are starting to change one by one to become more crappier. Like it wasn't already annoying enough to wait for a package you ordered online to show up, avoiding the weekends. Now we have to dodge a day in the middle of the week. Oh and Post Office, before you cut a day out think about all those people that will lose one day's pay and how that is going to effect the economy.

  1. I hope the government begins to outsource the mail to other companies like fedex or ups because the USPS is very unreliable and this is going to make things worse!

  2. In the NEAR future there will be no mail delivery. Everyone will have their own post office box and will have to go there to get their mail. Wouldn't that be awful?
